Keratitis

If you wear contact lenses, you have an increased risk for keratitis, an inflammation of the cornea. The first symptoms of keratitis, an inflammation of the cornea, are usually eye pain, redness, and blurred vision. Untreated keratitis can lead to corneal scarring, which can cause permanent vision loss. Keratitis can be successfully treated if diagnosed early.  Contact lens wearers are at higher risk for keratitis, an inflammation of the cornea.
